"Menu Planning on a Budget" offers tips on setting a food budget, menu planning ideas, and incorporating a balanced diet using the five food groups.

Presenter Diana Juarez works for Colorado State University Extension in Adams County and manages the Family and Consumer Science program. She offers educational workshops on financial literacy topics to adults and families by partnering with community organizations.

All participants will be provided with fridge thermometers to help avoid food spoilage by monitoring the correct fridge/freezer temperatures. These may be picked up at the College Hill Library with proof of registration.
